Science Teacher

Position: SCIENCE TEACHER
ACES Chase Academy Interdistict Magnet School is seeking a dynamic and qualified Certified Educator to teach 6th-grade science. ACES Chase Academy is currently expanding to a 6-12 school: candidates excited to be a part of an innovative, expanding program, including opportunities to teach high school, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons that align with state and national standards.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.

* Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and engage students in the learning process.

* Assess and evaluate student performance using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools.

* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.

* Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the science curriculum.

* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in science education.

* Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and programs.
