High School Admissions Representative

Are you great with people but burned out by quota-only sales roles, unpredictable schedules, or jobs that feel transactional instead of meaningful?

This is your chance to use your communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and customer service or sales experience to help high school students explore career-focused education—while building a stable, rewarding career for yourself.

We're looking for motivated, people-focused professionals, not career educators.

If you know how to connect, present, and build relationships, we'll teach you our admissions and high school recruiting process.

What You'll Be Doing

As a High School Admissions Representative, you'll serve as the primary connection between our campuses, local high schools, and prospective students. You'll build relationships throughout the community while helping students and their families explore educational opportunities and navigate the admissions process.

Travel required - Connecticut Territory; mileage reimbursement provided

You will:

  • Develop new and strengthen existing relationships with local high schools, school counselors, educators, and community organizations
  • Generate new student leads through classroom presentations, college and career fairs, community events, campus bus tours, and other high school recruitment activities
  • Conduct engaging presentations to students, educators, and community partners about our schools and career training programs
  • Meet with prospective students and their families on campus, conducting admissions interviews and personalized campus tours
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment
  • Utilize the school's CRM/database system to manage prospective student outreach, follow-up, and ongoing communication
  • Build trust through consultative, student-focused conversations—not high-pressure sales tactics
  • Learn, retain, and communicate accurate, up-to-date information about our programs and educational opportunities in a professional and compliant manner
  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership and campus departments to provide an outstanding prospective student experience
  • Attend weekly Admissions meetings to report recruiting activities, outreach efforts, and enrollment progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to the High School Recruiting Process
  • Maintain and track recruitment materials and event supplies
  • Learn, understand, and maintain compliance with all institutional policies, procedures, and admissions regulations
  • Meet or exceed weekly and quarterly enrollment funnel goals through effective outreach, relationship building, and recruitment activities

Position Requirements

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to follow established processes and directions while working independently
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, educators, and community partners

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales, customer service, admissions, recruiting, or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, public relations, and promotional skills (training will be provided)
  • Experience with public speaking or presenting to groups
  • Experience building relationships with schools, community organizations, or educational partners

Why Work With Us?

You'll join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping students discover educational opportunities that prepare them for successful careers. Supported by Admissions leadership and campus teams, you'll have the training, resources, and collaboration needed to build meaningful relationships, engage your local community, and help students take the next step toward their future.
