Salary Range: $54,000.00 - $56,300.00

• Bring each child's learning to life by tailoring curriculum, daily routines, and IEP/IFSP goals
• Foster a safe and healthy environment where kids can play, learn, and grow
• Collaborate with and guide your classroom team of 3 educators to foster each child’s unique school readiness goals
• Build strong relationships with families, co-educators, and support staff
• Observe children thoughtfully each week, using what you gather to shape meaningful, responsive instruction
• Engage with our internal support team to help support children’s individual developmental needs
• Attend and actively participate in staff trainings, meetings, and events
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities including regional & national conferences, in-service group seminars, 1:1 peer learning, and training via the Practice-Based Coaching model
• Be a part of our staff recognition events including full agency development/appreciation day (off-site), multiple staff functions (family picnic, year-end party), and national appreciations such as Teacher's Day/Week, Week of the Young Child

• EDUCATION:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's degree with Early Childhood Teaching Credential
• EXPERIENCE:
  
  2+ years working with infants and toddlers.
• SPECIAL
  
  SKILLS:
  
  Knowledge of early childhood education. Knowledge of Early Head Start Performance Standards, School Readiness goals and Connecticut Early Learning and Development standards. Warm and nurturing personality. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, to occasionally lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds, the use of arms, hands, legs, and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies.

Ability to kneel, bend and sit while interacting with children at floor level.
