R&D Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing (PECM / ECF)
Our client is an innovative leader in advanced manufacturing technology, and they are seeking a highly experienced R&D Engineer to help drive the future of precision manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with deep expertise in Pulsed Electro-Chemical Machining (PECM) and/or Electro-Chemical Finishing (ECF) to take ownership of groundbreaking manufacturing technologies from research and development through production implementation.

The OpportunityIn this role, you'll lead the development, optimization, and deployment of advanced electrochemical manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and optimization of advanced PECM and ECF manufacturing processes
- Design and execute experiments to improve process performance, quality, and efficiency
- Own projects from initial concept through validation, implementation, and production launch
- Identify and solve complex manufacturing and process challenges using data-driven methods
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to successfully transition new technologies into production
- Evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies and identify opportunities for innovation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practices for advanced manufacturing processes
- Significant hands‑on experience with Pulsed Electro-Chemical Machining (PECM), Electro-Chemical Finishing (ECF), or closely related electrochemical manufacturing technologies
- 7+ years of engineering experience within R&D, advanced manufacturing, process development, or related environments
- Demonstrated success developing and optimizing complex manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to independently lead projects from concept through production implementation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, experimental, and innovation-focused environment
