Job Description
The Company
An established manufacturing organization offering a stable environment, strong customer base, and opportunity to make a meaningful impact on engineering, product development, and organizational growth. Client identity and additional details will be shared with qualified candidates.
This leadership role will oversee engineering and new product development from concept through commercialization while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering, product development, validation, and product launches.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Manage engineering priorities, resources, projects, and timelines.
- Drive improvements in product quality, cost, manufacturability, and speed-to-market.
- Establish strong engineering processes, standards, and project controls.
- Provide technical and cross-functional leadership.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean/DFM initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading products from concept through commercialization.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design, validation, DFM/DFA, DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, and change management.
- Experience with CAD, ERP, and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
