- Maintain and build customer relationships by ensuring requests are met in a timely manner
- Design layouts for service additions and changes to the electric system using approved standards and policies
- Perform technical calculations and prepare work orders
- Communicate electric service installation requirements internally and externally
- Design, negotiate, and coordinate residential, commercial, and industrial service installations
- Prepare cost estimates, work orders, written service agreements, easement documents, and private property permits
- Design, negotiate, and coordinate relocation of overhead and underground facilities
- Recommend residential streetlight designs and coordinate installations
- Prepare work orders for security lighting and unmetered services
- Prepare residential or commercial contracts
- Assist with emergency restoration efforts
- Collaborate with supervisors, consultants, engineers, customers, contractors, municipalities, and utility representatives
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or a High School diploma/equivalent and one year of formal technical training
- 4-6 years of related electrical distribution experience required
- Sound knowledge of electrical distribution systems and construction standards and techniques
- Must successfully pass the TECH Test
- Qualified candidates must submit a resume with their online application
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations outside normal responsibilities, work hours, and location
- Must be able to work beyond regular business hours as required

Demonstrates expertise in electrical distribution systems, including design, negotiation, and coordination of service installations. Proficient in preparing technical documentation, cost estimates, and work orders while maintaining strong customer relationships.
