Overview
Independent Living Skill Trainer (ILST) ABI Companion role at Prestige Companion and Homemakers, LLC.
Location:
Waterbury, CT. The ILST will work with a male client and provide support to develop and maintain independent living skills.
- Provide independent living skill training and ABI support to the client
- Assist with all daily living tasks
- Provide community transport to medical appointments
- Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence
- Support client in community integration and daily routines
- Entry level position
- Ability to work with a male client; male staff is preferred
- Reliable transportation or ability to meet scheduling and mobility needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
