Are you an experienced Medical Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Join our Urgent Care team as a Lead Medical Assistant and help guide clinical operations while delivering exceptional care to our patients.
What You’ll Do- Prepare exam and treatment rooms and ensure patients are ready for exams or minor procedures.
- Escort patients, obtain medical history, and document vital signs and relevant information in the EMR.
- Serve as a scribe during exams, accurately recording provider-patient interactions.
- Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and documentation.
- Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to maintain efficiency.
- Assist with scheduling, phone calls, and administrative support as needed.
- Promote quality care through attention to detail and patient‑centered service.
- Education:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent related training; current Medical Assistant Certificate/Registration and CPR required. - Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of Medical Assistant experience. - Preferred:
Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting;
National Certification a plus. - Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.
