EMT Basic - Waterbury - Waterbury, CT

Full‑time EMT opportunity located in Waterbury, CT. Pay rate: $25.33 per hour. Immediate hiring.

• Assess patients, determine necessary care and provide emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
• Apply EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment use, cleaning procedures, and office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency response vehicles.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State EMT license
• State Driver’s license
• BLS, NREMT certification
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass physical agility test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

• Related experience in healthcare
