Clifton Larson Allen (CLA) Search has been retained by Torrington Supply Company to identify a Junior IT & Network Support Specialist to serve their team. The Junior IT & Network Support Specialist provides frontline technical support for end users and assists in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure across branch and warehouse locations. This role supports hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment.

What You’ll Do:- At the guidance of IT manager, provide technical support for employees (in person, phone, and remote)
- Help troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, RF devices, and connectivity issues
- Help set up and configure new user accounts, devices, and system access
- Support ERP systems (e.g., Eclipse/Eterm) and other business applications
- Assist with maintaining network infrastructure (routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points)
- Support VPN connectivity for remote users
- Assist with system updates, patches, and basic server maintenance
- Support warehouse technology including RF scanners, barcode printers, and shipping/receiving systems
- Help troubleshoot issues impacting order fulfillment and operations
- Follow IT security policies and best practices
- Assist with user access controls and password management
- Support data backup and recovery processes
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts across branches as directed by IT Manager
- 1–3 years of IT support experience (or relevant internship/training)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, DNS)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
- Preferred Experience:
experience in wholesale, distribution, or warehouse operations; familiarity with ERP systems (Eclipse, Eterm, or similar);
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications; experience with mobile devices and RF technology
