Lead Business Analytics, Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Consults with stakeholders to lead workstream scoping and prioritization through problem statement-oriented discovery and solutioning
• Transforms and maintains datasets for practical, scalable application
• Builds sophisticated statistical modeling to identify trends, evaluate causality and forecast results with viable outcomes
• Synthesizes results into succinct, easily digestible deliverables
• Delivers professional data products (e.g., dashboards, reports, documentation) with prescriptive, actionable insights
• Leverages automation tools to streamline data ingestion and outputs
• Leads continuous improvement of existing processes to refine, synthesize, and standardize work streams
• Maintains documentation outlining key projects and processes
• Advocates for resource prioritization according to strategic demand and business value
• Promotes a healthy, professional work environment and culture reflecting M&T Bank’s brand

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years related business line experience, OR in lieu of, a combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience
• SQL
