A. Welcome is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to lead and manage our Personal Injury Department. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to take ownership of cases, mentor staff, and collaborate with firm leadership while remaining actively involved in high-value legal work.

This is a senior, in-office leadership position based in Waterbury, Connecticut.

As Lead Personal Injury Attorney, you will oversee personal injury cases from intake through resolution while guiding paralegals and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently and clients receive exceptional service. You will play a key role in setting strategy, maintaining standards, and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

• Lead and manage the personal injury department
• Handle a full caseload of pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Oversee motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and workplace injury cases
• Develop case strategy, negotiate settlements, and handle litigation as needed
• Mentor and collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff
• Maintain high standards for client communication and case progression
• Starting salary of $165,000+ based on experience

• 5+ years of personal injury experience
• Active admission to the Connecticut Bar
• Strong leadership, case management, and communication skills
• Ability to appear in Connecticut courts
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred
