ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Direct, challenge, and motivate Community Managers to run high-performing properties, helping Related provide affordable housing to eligible individuals and families.
- Create and implement leasing and marketing plans, resident relations, budget preparation and financial reporting, and monitoring compliance with HUD Project Based Section 8, Section 236 and LIHTC laws.
- Hire and supervise site staff and above, including initial screening and interviewing. Parts of the process may be delegated to the appropriately trained site Community Managers where applicable.
- Supervise all site accounts payables and receivables.
- Reviews site budget-control logs and monthly income statements. Prepare monthly variance analysis reports (financial overviews) for submission to the regional office.
- Ensure that all resident complaints are handled expeditiously, diplomatically and professionally.
- Ensure that maximum economic rents are achieved through the active rent level management, general and targeted outreach methods, assurance of leasing skills, and resident retention programs.
- Supervises building security and incident documentation.
- Develop, implement, and assure preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- $115000.00 - $125000.00 / year

- This position is Exempt, meaning ineligible for overtime pay
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

- 5+ years of multi-family property management leadership experience.
- 3 years of oversight for multi-site portfolios.
- Strong working knowledge of LIHTC and project-based section 8 (HUD) affordable housing compliance programs;
- Certifications such as CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCS, or BOS are a plus, along with experience in major rehabs and renovations.
