Position Objective

Continually monitor MPS & MRP to maintain an executable schedule through collaboration with supervisors and other members of the Production Control team.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Ensures proper production control planning and scheduling to meet forecasts with direction from manager.
  • Planning, scheduling, and prioritization of work through the factory to meet production start/finish dates and customer ship requirements.
  • Supports lean enterprise activities and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provides information to quality for customer requirements pertaining to traceability.
  • Perform system transactions as needed, e.g., when employees are out, RM type transactions, or scrap transactions.
  • Supports manufacturing floor with releasing orders to production and splitting production lots.
  • Ensures the latest drawing revisions are being used in the manufacturing process.
  • General “clean up” of planned work orders in MRP system as directed by management staff.
Qualifications
  • One year of experience in purchasing and/or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced Microsoft Office suite user – most specifically Excel.
  • Detail oriented with some experience with creating or managing schedules.
  • Or any combination of knowledge, skill, ability and experience that is agreeable to the manager.
  • Due to ITAR Regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
