Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Overview

Precision Dip Coating, a stable and reputable manufacturing company located in Waterbury, is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk.

• A four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 40 hours)
• Competitive rate of up to $25-30/hour to start, significant OT available (not required)

We are seeking a motivated Shipping/Receiving Clerk to handle all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.

• Receive and inspect incoming orders and packages per company standards, complete required paperwork for incoming orders
• Prepare completed work for shipping and schedule pickups
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
• Maintain the dock area in an organized manner

• You have at least 2 years of recent experience in a Shipping/Receiving role
• UPS World Ship software experience is preferred
• Certificate in Forklift operation preferred
• Excellent communication skills and computer skills as well as basic Math skills
• You are familiar with counting scales and weight counting procedures
