Description

OR Circulator position at a multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center, requiring 1–2 years of nursing experience, with scrub experience a plus. Monday‑Friday schedule of 10‑hour shifts (30 hours/week). Benefit eligible. Lunch paid. 7 paid holidays plus a day after Thanksgiving.

Qualifications

Current state nursing license.

Current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification required. Must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Successful completion of annual facility‑wide competencies.

Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.

Prior knowledge of surgical instrumentation and peri‑operative equipment or ability to learn the same.

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Ability to lift and transport patients and instrument trays and equipment up to 40 pounds.

Ability to work with minimum supervision and organize work by importance.

Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and in various peri‑operative environments.

Manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle instrumentation, hearing to understand verbal instructions, near vision to distinguish supplies and instrumentation.
