You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs.
Schedules- Sun/Mon 11pm‑9am, Saturday 11p‑7am (Waterbury)
- Mon, Tues, Fri 8am‑10am (Naugatuck)
- Sun, Mon 3pm‑11pm, Tues 3pm‑10pm, Sat 7am‑3pm (Thomaston)

A Direct Support Professional counselor provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

No experience? If you meet the basic job requirements, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands‑on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
- Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and more.

- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license (due to transporting persons served)
- Some positions may require own personal vehicle and auto‑liability insurance
- Successful background clearance required as part of onboarding/employment process
- Good communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
