American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position requiring CT or compact RN license and prior travel experience.
Requirements- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Med/Surg clinical experience required
- Experience with blood product administration
- Peripheral line and PICC line care/management experience
- Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
- Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management experience
- Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required
- Any charting system experience accepted
- Float pool position covering Medsurg units
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system
- Communication via SBAR
- 12-hour day shifts from 07:00-19:30
- 36 or 48 hour weekly shift options available
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Provide direct patient care across Medsurg units as part of a float pool
- Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
