Job Summary: As a Bartender at Crab Cab, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. Your role involves preparing drinks, making recommendations, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience at the bar.

• Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly at the bar and introduce them to our drink offerings.
• Craft Drinks: Prepare and serve drinks according to Crab Cab’s recipes and guest preferences, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Upsell and Recommend: Suggest cocktails, beers, and wines that complement our food menu, and offer premium options where appropriate.
• Manage Bar Orders: Handle drink orders from both bar guests and servers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Engage with guests, check back with them throughout their visit, and respond to any concerns or requests.
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Bar: Keep the bar area clean, fully stocked, and organized throughout your shift.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Check guest IDs and adhere to all alcohol safety regulations.

• Previous experience as a bartender in a full‑service bar or restaurant.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Must be able to stand and move for long periods, and lift/carry supplies.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide attentive, personalized service to bar guests, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.
• Anticipate guest needs, offering refills, suggestions, and checking in regularly.
• Thank guests sincerely and ensure they leave with a positive impression of Crab Cab.

• Work closely with fellow bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members to maintain a cohesive workflow.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the bar for the duration of your shift.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Bend, twist, and move comfortably to serve drinks, restock, and clean the bar area.
