Fabrication & Warehouse Employee
Reports to
Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor
Role DescriptionFollows company warehouse operational policies and QC procedures in fabricating fire protection pipe systems. Works in safe, efficient operation of all fabrication equipment and documents all work performed. Works productivity, with high quality, and efficiency of machine line operations. Prepares materials, equipment, and supplies for field construction crews.
Key Responsibilities- Follow processes and procedures to implement functional strategies
- Has expertise in welding, pipe machinery, electrical and process systems
- Interprets business issues and adapts work priorities in own area
- Works in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, enforcing program, operational, and procedures
- Works in receiving, inventory and repair of Tools
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Help warehouse control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Education
:
Trade High School, or AS degree in a related field with 3-5 years experience in a fabrication shop environment - Skills/Qualifications
:
Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance, Judgment - Languages
:
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required - Computer Literacy
:
Microsoft Word/Power Point/Excel - Supervisory

Strong organizational skills and a participatory management style - Work Time
