ATA Services, Inc., is looking for a Finanical Administrator with our client the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA). DVHA office supports the financial operations of the agency through budget development and monitoring, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, purchasing, and vendor management.
As a Financial Administrator I, your duties will include:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions (routing of invoices for approval, invoice processing, posting of wire payments)
- Coordination with vendors and purchasing agents
- Providing back-up support to other business office functions as needed
- Utilizing Vision and VTBuys the State's financial management systems
You'll work with a small team of finance and accounting professionals and will collaborate with other agency/department business offices and DVHA staff.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, business/office administration.
OR
Bachelor's degree INCLUDING 20 college credit hours in accounting AND one 1 year or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records.
OR
Associate's degree in accounting, business/office administration AND two 2 years or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records.
