Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Corporate Accounting Team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records while supporting the accounting operations of our growing hospitality portfolio.

Position Responsibilities Include
  • Review, verify, and process invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and other vendor disbursements.
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure all required documentation is current.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and hotel teams regarding payment inquiries and account issues.
  • Assist with month‑end closing activities, account reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audit requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support the Accounting Department with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Hospitality accounting experience is a plus but not required.
