Waterford Hotel Group is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to support our Engineering & Technical Services department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, working with vendors, maintaining detailed records, and serving as the administrative hub for a busy engineering team.
WhatYou'll Do
- Coordinate and track engineering work orders and maintenance requests.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and departmental records.
- Track inventory, engineering supplies, and equipment purchases.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and departmental correspondence.
- Organize budgets, energy usage reports, safety documentation, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with hotels, vendors, and internal departments to ensure projects and repairs stay on schedule.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Engineering and Technical Services.
- Previous administrative or office support experience required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with purchasing, invoices, maintenance systems, or facilities management is a plus.
- Hospitality, engineering, construction, or property management experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
