FFD & Access Representative Administrative

Day and Zimmermann is hiring a Nuclear Site FFD & Access Representative to sit onsite in Waterford, CT to support the Fall Outage.

• Process access authorization paperwork for employees and contractors.
• Perform applicant fingerprinting and submit fingerprints to Corporate Security and the NRC.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records related to fingerprint submissions.
• Grant, modify, and terminate plant access and Owner Controlled Area (OCA) access as required.
• Issue badges and ensure all regulatory and security requirements are met before granting access.
• Maintain compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and company security procedures.
• Become qualified as an FFD collector and support the Nuclear FFD Program.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
• Computer proficiency and data-tracking experience.
• Ability to strictly follow procedures and regulatory requirements.
• A background that would support obtaining and maintaining nuclear unescorted access authorization.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing, including marijuana/THC screening.

• High School Diploma required.
• Additional education or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of higher education credentials.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $30,000 - $50,000 max. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
