Scheduler – Full‑time position at Day & Zimmermann, Waterford, CT
Responsibilities- Provide support and guidance for site scheduling personnel.
- Work with Engineering, Construction, and Operational teams to develop detailed schedules and keep them current.
- Assist with analyzing and auditing scheduling.
- Develop and/or modify project schedules and integrate multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
- Support proposal scheduling as needed and support project teams.
- Experience working as a scheduler at a nuclear site.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve problems independently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on goals to attain defined end results.
- Thorough understanding of Primavera and Microsoft scheduling software.
- Basic knowledge/understanding of industry scheduling terminology.
- Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education.
- Some college or post‑secondary education preferred, or minimum of five years related experience in a construction environment.
- Three or more years of related scheduling assignments.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $66,000‑$175,000.

- Climbing (e.g., ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc. using feet and legs and hands/arms).

- Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.
- Ability to read complex documents in the English language.
- Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
- Ability to write complex documents in the English language.
- Capacity to express thoughts orally.
- Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet‑proof vest, or other equipment.
- Ability to regularly perform all job functions at the company's office or worksite.
- Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise).
