Job Overview
Para educator at Clark Lane Middle School – Waterford, CT 06385. Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, the para educator assists staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Support classroom instruction and student learning activities.
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional plans.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with education staff to identify and address student needs.
- Para-Pro Certificate, Associate's Degree, or 60 college credits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Wage is in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
