Job SummaryManager‑Nuclear Projects will lead the engineering project management of special nuclear projects as directed by Projects leadership. The role is responsible for scope, schedule, and cost performance of large capital projects, overseeing studies, high‑dollar contract negotiation, and the engagement of supplemental engineering firms.
Key Responsibilities- Provide scope, schedule, and cost performance for large capital projects.
- Oversee development of applicable studies and negotiate high‑dollar contracts.
- Coordinate supplemental engineering firms to develop full project scope.
- Manage and provide engineering for the project.
- Develop programs and procedures to conduct project activities in accordance with NRC and quality assurance requirements.
- Provide interface between design, construction, and station departments such as operations, maintenance, outage, planning, radiation protection, security, and training.
- 8+ years of directly related experience.
- Leadership role in driving continuous improvement and organizational excellence in project management.
- Night‑shift coverage may be required.
- PMP certification or SRO license preferred.
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage human resources on large‑scale projects.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that impact business goals.
- Ability to prepare, maintain, and monitor group budgets.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Other disciplines may be substituted if the candidate demonstrates equivalent experience.
PMP certification or SRO license preferred; none required.
Working Conditions- Office work environment 76‑100%
- Travel up to 25%
