Position: Housekeeper - No Experience Required

Head of Housekeeping

Compensation: $18.00/hour

Dates:
Full and Part time, Early May
- Mid August

The Housekeeping Staff is an integral part of the O'Neill's overall campus operations. We seek several team-oriented individuals to help maintain the presentation of our campus, and aid in creating a clean and welcoming environment for staff, students, and artists throughout the summer season.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing daily inventory of rooms, arrivals, and departures to ensure timely and efficient resetting of various living quarters on campus
  • Performing a variety of tasks on a daily basis, including but not limited to laundering linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, changing bed linens, restocking supplies
  • Monitoring inventory of supplies needed for daily tasks, alerting Head of Housekeeping when reorders are necessary
  • Assisting the facilities crew in maintaining the cleanliness of the overall campus environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • On-the-job training, no experience required.
  • Basic internet and computer skills preferred.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods of time, and capable of lifting up to 45 lbs.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required.
