Job SummaryOncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide value-based care to patients in practice-based settings in Hartford Health Care’s East Region.
ResponsibilitiesOncology physician assistants and nurse practitioners provide value-based care in an ambulatory setting and will be involved in triage and the spectrum of outpatient management including, but not limited to, the following: benign hematology visits, sick/urgent visits, chemotherapy education/teach visits, bone marrow aspirations, overseeing infusion follow up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.
Schedule and SitesSchedule:
Part Time 30 hours – 3 days/week 10-hour shifts.
Sites in the East Region include our Norwich and Waterford practices.

Qualifications- Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy provider card.
- Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is preferred.
