Job Details
  • Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in an ambulatory, practice-based setting
  • Part-time position, 30 hours per week with 3 days per week on 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Provide value-based care across Norwich and Waterford practice sites in the East Region
  • Involved in triage and the full spectrum of outpatient oncology management
  • Conduct benign hematology visits, sick/urgent visits, and chemotherapy education/teach visits
  • Perform bone marrow aspirations and oversee infusion follow-up appointments
  • Provide ongoing survivorship care to cancer patients
  • Assist in building a comprehensive cancer program within the East Region
  • Work within a close-knit, compassionate team with a common goal of delivering high-quality cancer care
  • Access mentorship and training through Hartford Health Care's unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering
  • Eligibility for licensure in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required
  • Certification as a PA, or National Board Certification as an FNP, ANP, or AGPCNP is required
  • Chemotherapy Biotherapy provider card required
  • Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is preferred
Compensation

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
