** Position Summary
** The Quality Assurance Supervisor will lead quality assurance efforts associated with construction and operational activities by directing audits and compliance reviews of work performed by company personnel and contractors. The position promotes consistent execution of company standards and identifies opportunities for process improvement, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.  This role provides direct supervision and work direction for assigned Quality Assurance employees and supports safety, compliance, and quality assurance activities consistent with company operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable quality standards.  

The position coordinates with internal stakeholders, external contractors and technical resources to ensure work is prioritized, assigned, completed, and documented in a manner that supports operational performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

* Essential Functions:

*** Supervise day-to-day activities for assigned Quality Assurance personnel.
* Prioritize, assign, and monitor work performed by internal and external groups.
* Ensure assigned audits, reviews, and projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
* Coordinate with other departments and operational teams to meet quality expectations and department objectives.
* Coach team members on task execution, technical proficiency, documentation quality, and performance expectations.
* Support the development, review, and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, work methods, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Provide oversight of applicable quality assurance activities, supplier/vendor quality assurance, process excellence, and operational quality reviews.
* Review work at appropriate intervals to verify quality, consistency, and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
* Use analytical skills and judgment to evaluate moderately complex issues, compare alternative solutions, and recommend a practical path forward.
* Assist the Standards and Training Teams with the development of policies and/or training processes.

* Understanding of regulatory compliance and natural gas industry
* Ability to supervise employees, assign work, monitor progress, and support team performance.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
* Ability to coach employees and support development of technical and job-related skills.
* Ability to balance quality, efficiency, safety, compliance, and operational needs.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the natural gas industry or a similar quality role in other industries.
* In addition, a minimum of 1 year of team lead/coaching experience is required.
