Job Summary

Processes Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products. Scans merchandise and accepts various forms of payments. Provides excellent member service efficiently and maintains overall cleanliness of the front-line department.

• Work daily to meet GOLD club standards, including promotion execution and accurate signage.
• Understand and utilize production and financial performance reporting for your department.
• Manage membership options: offers renewals, upgrades, and loyalty programs.
• Check members out efficiently and scan all merchandise through POS for accurate inventory and totals.
• Assist with self‑checkout stations, collect payments, issue receipts, and provide change.
• Stay current on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.
• Apply coupons and discounts accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front‑line area and assist with general housekeeping.
• Return resellable merchandise to the sales floor area.
• Manage self‑checkout and scan‑and‑pan lanes and assist members with technical difficulties.
• Meet cashier productivity expectations and maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including work in other departments.
• Maintain regular, full attendance.

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Most of the time is spent moving frequently on hard surfaces. Requires occasional positioning to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, reaching, and/or stooping. Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting greater than 30 pounds with assistance. Located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. May have occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the pay range for this position is $17.75 - $21.30.
