Position Highlights- Three (3) full‑time and three (3) part‑time shifts for first, second, and third shift.

Sunday & Monday, 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (Regular days off: Tuesday – Saturday) - PCN 142013:
Tuesday – Saturday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (Regular days off: Sunday & Monday) - PCN 141996:
Sunday & Monday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Regular days off: Tuesday – Saturday) - PCN 142011:
Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Regular days off: Sunday & Monday) - PCN 142010:
Friday – Saturday, 9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. (Regular days off: Sunday – Thursday) - PCN 141998:
Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. (Regular days off: Friday & Saturday)
- PCN 142012:
- Duration: PCN 142012 ends October 15, 2026; the remaining positions end November 12, 2026.
- No benefits.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of April 4, 2026.
- Applicants must work the full season and complete all required DDS training.
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.
- Applicants must be able to travel.
- Provide basic security services to ensure the control and safety of clients, employees, and the visiting public.
- Enforce parking and traffic control regulations as established by the assigned agency.
- Direct traffic on state property.
- Issue tickets for violations.
- Provide information and assistance to visitors.
- Guard entrances and exits to prevent trespassing, vandalism, theft and other violations.
- Perform routine vehicle and foot patrol duty and monitor security alarm systems to detect theft and other criminal acts.
- Provide security escorts.
- Give first aid when necessary.
- Perform dispatching and record‑keeping functions at a desk post.
- Any experience or training that provides the skills and abilities indicated above (interpersonal, oral, and written communication; ability to think and act quickly in emergencies with judgment and discretion).
- Experience working in the security field.
- Experience working or volunteering with people with disabilities.
- Experience in a camp, park, or other recreational setting.
- Must possess and retain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
- Must obtain and maintain a Standard First Aid Certificate and/or CPR certification.
Incumbents must have general good health, be free from any disease or injury that would impair health or usefulness, and possess sufficient physical strength, stamina, agility, endurance, visual and auditory acuity required to perform all duties. Applicants may be required to pass a physical examination.
Working ConditionsIncumbents may be exposed to discomfort of working outdoors, prolonged periods of walking and standing while on foot patrol and/or guard duty, and may encounter some danger of injury.
