Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This position is responsible for coordinating inventory movements, processing shipments and deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they may recommend improvements to warehouse strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments by verifying documentation and inspecting goods.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices.
  • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to schedule deliveries and resolve logistics issues.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Maintain proper documentation for inbound/outbound shipments and inventory movements.
  • Assist in tracking and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding inventory controls, safety, and logistics
  • Able to communicate with internal teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using inventory management or warehouse software
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics coordination (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, speak, and hear.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
