Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assessment of mental health conditions
• Treatment plan development
• Provide therapeutic services for adults, children, and families.
• Case Management
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to address clinical needs
• Advocacy, referral and linkage to recommended community resources
• Complete required data entry and paperwork in accordance with program and agency policies and procedures, including but not limited to opening requirements, assessments, treatment/recovery plans, progress notes, treatment authorizations and authorization of medical necessity.

Requirements

Education and/or experience required/preferred

Degree/Field

Required:

Master's degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)

Degree/Field Preferred:
Master's degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)

Experience

Required:

Minimum of one year relevant job experience in counseling/case management

Licenses/Certifications

Required:

LPC or LSW is required

Licenses/Certifications Preferred: LCPC or LCSW, or actively working towards this licensure, is preferred

Proficient Computer Skills In:
Outlook, Word, Database Management Software

Expert Computer Skills In:
Outlook, Word, Database Management Software

Vehicle related requirements

Access to reliable transportation to get to/from work:
Required.

Access to a reliable automobile:
Required.

Must provide proof of auto liability insurance (and continue to while working in this position):
Required.

Must possess a valid driver's license :
Required.
