Senior Analyst, Costing Accounting
Support the performance management of manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, compliance, reporting, performance analysis, and special projects.
- Assist with preparation and review of annual budget, periodic forecasts, and operating plans.
- Perform assigned close tasks accurately and timely.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and substantiations.
- Assess monthly financial performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and highlight performance improvement areas to operational teams.
- Perform profitability assessments on product lines, customers, capital investments, and other business decisions.
- Ensure financial integrity by following procedures and internal controls in accordance with GAAP, Master Brand policies, Code of Conduct, and applicable guidelines.
- Prepare and coordinate capital expenditure requests and participate in long‑term capital planning.
- Support inventory and other asset control.
- Perform financial modeling and trend/sensitivity analysis.
- Maintain and improve standard costing.
- Use Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services/Smart View, Insight, and Friedman systems.
- Collaborate with finance management and staff, share ideas, and provide value‑added recommendations.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Finance, Economics, or related fields).
- 3+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and intermediate/advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, Mainframe). Knowledge of IFRS, Sarbanes‑Oxley, cost accounting preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or MBA is a plus.
- Positive, solution‑oriented attitude.
- Travel up to 5% annually (domestic).
