Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing global manufacturer in the Waterloo area. In this role, you'll be a key member of the accounting team, partnering with customers and internal stakeholders across multiple business units. You'll gain exposure to a variety of accounts receivable functions, from cash application and collections to account maintenance and credit reviews, while working in a collaborative and team-focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Establish, maintain, and update customer (business partner) accounts
• Manage collections activities and review aging reports across multiple business units
• Post and apply daily cash transactions, including ACH, wire transfers, lockbox payments, and credit card transactions
• Perform account research, reconciliations, and detailed account analysis
• Monitor customer credit limits and assist with credit-related reviews
• Partner with Sales and other departments regarding sales orders, returns, and customer credits
• Prepare and support monthly reporting activities
• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system and ensure data integrity
