Position Purpose
Acts as receptionist and performs general clerical and support duties for the department. Performs departmental word processing duties and maintains files and reports. Maintains office supplies and materials. Assists others by answering questions and referring to other individuals when appropriate. Adheres to Mercy One's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of Mercy One.

HoursFull Time. 40 hours/week. Monday‑Friday, current hours are 0815‑1645, considering 0900‑1730. No weekends, no holidays, no on call.
Job Duties- Ensures efficient operation of office.
- Maintains records and adheres to department timelines.
- Provides customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Prepares correspondence and various forms.
- Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
- High School plus specialized training: A minimum of 1 year post high school training.
- Minimum of six months clerical, secretarial, or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate language, basic mathematical, intermediate reasoning ability.
- Types a minimum of 60 WPM.
