Position SummaryThe Senior Technician/Mechanic position requires talent and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.
Sign‑on bonus of $1,500 (first‑time hires). Pay range: $18.54 – $33.47 per hour. Our technicians enjoy a performance‑based compensation model known as flat‑rate pay, which rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task, fostering a culture of efficiency and swift task accomplishment. These rates reflect average productivity by region.

Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air‑conditioning and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical customers.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reading, writing and math skills.
- Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational‑Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates/assessment.
- A.S.E. certification in at least 3 of the A1–A8 modules (new hires with external similar qualifications have up to 2 years to comply).
- Maintains required Federal, State and Local certifications/licenses where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
