Position: Automotive Parts Manager (Dealership Experience Required)

Automotive Parts Manager

Rydell Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department in Waterloo, Iowa. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands how to build a productive, organized, and profitable operation. We are looking for a strong leader who values accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, performance, and profitability of the Parts Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the parts team
  • Ensuring excellent service for internal and external customers
  • Managing inventory accuracy and organization
  • Overseeing parts ordering, receiving, pricing, and merchandising
  • Monitoring department profitability and performance metrics
  • Maintaining efficient workflow and operational standards
  • Managing delivery and logistics processes
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Building a positive, professional team culture
  • Representing Rydell Chevrolet with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of Automotive Parts Manager experience
  • Proven success managing a high-performing parts department
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and process management
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred:

  • Automotive parts sales experience
  • Experience with dealership inventory systems and controls
