Experienced Automotive Detail Technician – McGrath Chevyland About the OpportunityMcGrath Chevyland is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our high‑performing detail team. This role is focused on producing professionally detailed vehicles that exceed customer expectations while maintaining the quality standards McGrath is known for.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and understands the importance of delivering vehicles that are showroom ready. During slower periods, you'll also assist our lot operations team by helping maintain vehicle flow and supporting dealership operations.

Requirements- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship
- Experience with exterior polishing, buffing, waxing, and interior detailing techniques
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, team‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to safely operate and move a variety of vehicles
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be 18+)
- Professionally clean and detail vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, buffing, and polishing
- Perform complete interior detailing, including vacuuming, stain removal, shampooing, and window cleaning
- Clean wheels, tires, door jambs, engine compartments, and other vehicle components to dealership standards
- Use approved detailing products, tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet McGrath quality standards before delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detail department
- During slower periods, assist the lot team with vehicle movement, staging, organization, and other dealership support tasks as needed
