Project Manager/Estimator - Earthworks and Site Work

Our client is an established, well respected Heavy Civil company in Iowa who is currently seeking a Project Manager/Estimator with earthwork, mass grading, excavation, and underground utility experience.

Responsibilities:

• Understand how to run large projects from cradle to grave
• Manage and coordinate meetings with Clients & stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate with superintendents and estimators
• Meet with subcontractors and service providers to determine requirements and ensure implementation
• Track associated costs
• Review design documents for conformance and accuracy
• Develop and issue RFI & RFP protocol, award bids, negotiate contracts and manage contract delivery programs
• Conduct site visits and issue reports to upper management and clients
• Manage meetings, take and issue meeting minutes, responsible for reporting and tracking project progress and close out

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience
• Must demonstrate ability to provide leadership and safety
• Must have thorough understanding of construction contracts
• Must be able to set and achieve personal and project goals
• General knowledge of related construction and engineering terms and principles
