Hematology​/Oncology Physician

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday (most likely), 16 shifts per month, 8-hour shifts, Clinic hours
• Job Setting: Outpatient clinic with infrequent inpatient responsibilities at MO Cedar Falls Medical Center
• Types of Cases: Consults, follow up care, oversee administration of antineoplastics in the clinic. Services offered include antineoplastics, phlebotomies, IV IgG, iron therapy, bone marrow biopsies. Patient demographics 18 years and older. Clinic provider daily volume 16-20, average daily hospital practice census 0-2. Appointment length: 15/20 follow-up and 60 consults (adjustable to provider)
• Credentialing: EMR: EPIC. 4 exam rooms, 2 nurses/1 provider along with referral and triage nurses. Ancillary staff includes reception, lab, social worker, referrals, dietician. 2 Advanced Practice Providers (no supervision expected). Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy available. Teaching opportunity available

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified in Hematology Oncology required. Must be Fellowship Trained in Hematology Oncology
• Certifications: Provider must be able to do MUA
• Licensure: Active IA License or Active IMLC required
