About the Position
We are seeking an experienced,
Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgery Physician to provide
locums inpatient and call coverage across two affiliated facilities in the
Waterloo–Cedar Falls area. This assignment is strictly hospital-based with no
clinic responsibilities, supporting a busy orthopedic service serving patients
of all ages.

rounding on admitted orthopedic patients

On-call
coverage for orthopedic emergencies

Collaboration
with nursing, anesthesia, and ancillary teams

Accurate
and timely documentation in Epic

Qualifications

Board
Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

Fellowship
trained (Orthopedic Surgery)

Active
Iowa medical license  or  Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification
required at name clear)

Proven
experience in inpatient orthopedic surgery coverage

Comfortable
managing a full scope of hospital-based orthopedic cases
