Anesthesiologist

Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department at a facility holding Level III Trauma Center and Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit designations. The anesthesiologist will provide locum tenens coverage at an operating room facility in Waterloo, Iowa, working Monday through Friday with required call coverage. Board certification is required for this assignment.

Practice Info

• Level III Trauma Center and Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit designations, along with Accredited Chest Pain Center status, Joint Commission designations, Magnet Recognition, and BCBS Distinctions
• Operating room facility in Waterloo, Iowa
• Case load/PPD: 30-50 cases for whole department per day
• Support staff:
  Group has 6 physicians and 2 CRNA

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed:
  Weeks of Nov 23, Dec 21, Dec 28;
  Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day will not be worked
• Shift type:

• Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call coverage is required on a rotating schedule of every 3-4 days, seven days per week
• Call ratio/schedule: 7 days per week, every 3-4 days
