Job SummaryThe CSI Coach provides instructional leadership and systems coordination to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes. This position combines the responsibilities of coaching as well as working in cooperation with building leadership to support continuous school improvement processes, including preparation for monitoring and site visits.
The CSI Coach will partner with staff and leadership to strengthen instructional practices, support data-informed decision-making, and ensure alignment with district and state expectations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience serving in a high-poverty, high-minority student population and is focused on strengthening instructional quality, building effective systems, and accelerating student achievement.

Note:
The position is based on a CSI Building Designation and ESSA 1003 Funding. Funding is reviewed annually.
- Bachelors degree in education
- Masters degree in educational field, preferred
- Content endorsement
- Iowa teaching certification
- 5 or more years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement efforts to impact student outcomes and/or supporting Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) processes aligned to ESSA designations preferred.
- Previous coaching experience preferred.
- Documented evidence of data movement.
- Experience supporting diverse, high-needs student populations preferred.
