Onsite Position
- Research, test, and implement new materials and processes to enhance casting cost efficiency and quality.
- Conduct special process audits of casting suppliers to ensure adherence to standards.
- Assist supply management and design teams with casting failure analysis requests through the Casting Center of Excellence.
- Design, refine, and deliver training programs for casting buyers, foundry employees, and casting designers.
- Collaborate with University Metal Casting Programs to stay connected with research and contribute to curriculum development.

What Skills You Need- 5 or more years of experience in Process Control Monitoring & Improvement
- 3 or more years of experience with the materials and processes used in Green Sand Mold Making, Cold Box Core Making, Shot Blast Cleaning
- 3 or more years of experience with the materials and processes used in a Coreless Induction, Cupola, or Arc melting process.
- 3 or more years of experience performing Casting Defect Analysis
- Strong analytic skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand multiple, complex requests and negotiate a mutually beneficial plan in a very dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other members on team in areas of expertise
- Additive Manufacturing Experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience auditing foundry processes and developing improvement plans
- Experience implementing new processes into manufacturing
- Experience in foundry tooling design
- Experience in iron gating system design
- Experience in heat treating processes
- Bachelor's degree in Metal Casting, Metallurgy, or Materials Engineering
