As the Industrial Engineer I, you will serve as the onsite engineer for your assigned location as well as provide general engineering support across multiple warehouse operations focusing on process optimization, operational improvements, and standard engineering work. You will be responsible for warehouse layout and design improvements, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity. As an integral part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our warehouse operations to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

This role executes well‑defined tasks, supports implementations, and ensures adherence to established standards.

We're especially excited to connect with candidates who bring experience with automation systems such as Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), conveyor systems, and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). Familiarity with SAP Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is also a big plus. What You'll Do
  • Warehouse Layout and Design: Analyze existing warehouse layouts and propose improvements to enhance space utilization, material flow, and overall efficiency. Develop and implement innovative warehouse design solutions to optimize storage, pick paths, and transportation routes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and ergonomic standards in the warehouse layout.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and drive continuous improvement projects in safety, quality, and productivity by utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of warehouse‑related issues, such as accidents, defects, or delays and develop corrective and preventative action plans. Utilize data‑driven approaches to identify underlying problems and implement effective solutions.
