Manufacturing Engineer
Payrate: $35.81 - $41.89/hr we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with an Industrial Engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven performance in past manufacturing support roles and experience conducting time studies. You'll work on optimizing processes, supporting operations, and improving efficiency within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and distribution operations, focusing on quality improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses for incentive pay systems such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan).
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, tool design, and processes.
- Participate in total preventative maintenance and facilities management activities.
- Document processes and procedures with technical writing, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Provide shop floor support and problem-solving, spending approximately 60% of time on feet and lifting up to 10 lbs as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other relevant software to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Work flexible hours to support manufacturing operations as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (ideal); open to recent graduates with relevant internships or academic experience.
- Experience with manufacturing and distribution processes, quality, tooling, and facilities.
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing and communication.
- Proven track record in shop floor manufacturing, incentive pay systems, and work measurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $35.81 - $41.89/hr non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
