Job Title:Manufacturing Quality Engineer Client:
Heavy Machine Manufacturing Industry
Duration: 2 Years (Possible Extension)
Location:
Waterloo, IA 50704
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Technology, Business, CS, Data Analytics, or related)
- Open to recent graduates (manufacturing internships )
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn; comfortable working on the shop floor
- Support manufacturing and quality process analysis and improvements
- Assist with feasibility testing and validation of engineering solutions
- Help draft and evaluate engineering standards and specifications
- Perform quality inspections under supervision; recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors as a point of contact
- Identify process gaps and support change management initiatives
- Support product development, testing, and customer requirement analysis
- Work within project plans to meet quality and production goals
- Quality & manufacturing engineering fundamentals
- Process improvement, testing, and implementation
- Project coordination and schedule support
- Health & safety, risk management, and compliance basics
